Great Job by Tahmima (Bangladeshi Writer)


Tahmina Anam (daughter of Mahfuz Anam, editor and publisher of The Daily Star) has been named among the 20 best young British novelists (who’s aged under 40 and hold a British passport) of the decade by acclaimed literary magazine Granta (UK-based magazine)

“A Golden Age” - Tahmima’s first novel won the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for Best First Book in 2008.

In 2011, “The Good Muslim,” – her follow-up novel was also nominated in shortlist for the Man Asian Literary Prize.

Tahmima completed PhD in Social Anthropology from Harvard University and MA in Creative Writing at Royal Holloway, London.
