Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami (one of the largest Islamist parties in the sub-continent) leader Delwar Hossain Sayedee to death for his war crimes during the Liberation war period-1971.
The ICT-1 (International Crimes Tribunal-1) finally
delivered the verdict in the case against Sayedee to HANG.
Three-member of the tribunal told that out of 20, 8 charges
Sayedee was facing were proved without any doubt.
Sayedee who is famous across Bangladesh and abroad for
religious sermons - is charges 20 include murder, rape, genocide, arson, loot
and persecution.
